Doctoral Students
There is currently an opening in the CACE lab for a PhD student. Please contact Professor Wagstrom if you are interested.
Graduate Student, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Connecticut
B.S. Chemical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2011)
Fatema Parvez received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 2011. After graduation, she worked for Renata Limited, a pharmaceutical company, as an assistant manager for one and half years. In Fall 2013, she joined the CACE lab where she is developing novel approaches for modeling air pollution across both regional and local scales. Besides her academic activities, she enjoys watching movies, visiting new places, and cooking. (Anticipated defense date: April 2018)
Carmen Lamancusa
Graduate Student, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Connecticut
B.S. Chemical Engineering, Bucknell University (2012)
Carmen Lamancusa received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University in the spring of 2012. He attended the graduate program at Drexel University before transferring to the University of Connecticut to work with Dr. Wagstrom starting in the fall of 2013. He is developing a module within the GEOS-Chem global atmospheric chemistry model that will allow for tagged pollutants to be easily tracked in global scale simulations. Outside of academia, he acts as a manager for a live-action roleplaying group that he and his friends started six years ago. (Anticipated defense date: April 2018)
Masters Students
There are currently openings for MS students in the CACE group. Please contact Dr. Wagstrom if you are interested in joining the group.
